This is the privacy notice of Lena Whitaker trading as ‘oscar rae‘. In this document, “we”, “our”, or “us” refer to oscar rae. oscar rae are a graphic design company. oscarrae.co.uk is owned by us and hosted in the United Kingdom by 1&1 Ionos Ltd.

We only use information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2019). Under the terms of the GDPR legislation, we are required to explain to you how we will treat any personal and or/private data which we collect from you.

The law requires us to tell you about your rights and our obligations to you with regards to the processing and control of your personal data. We do this now, by requesting that you read the information provided at knowyourprivacyrights.org

Except as set out below, we do not share, or sell, or disclose to a third party, any information collected through our website.

These cookies include Google Analytics, Twitter and Formidable Forms, whose third party services we use to facilitate our website.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of this website. Google Analytics generates statistical and other information about website use by means of cookies, which are stored on users’ computers. The information generated relating to our website is used to create reports about the use of the website, which we use to help us understand website traffic and usage By using this website, you consent to the processing of data about you by Google in the manner described in Google’s privacy policy is available at: policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics if you disable or refuse the cookie, disable JavaScript, or use the opt-out service provided by Google.

Whilst oscar rae give you the option of accepting or declining cookies when you first visit our site, you can delete the cookies from your browser at any time by accessing your security or privacy settings in your preferences.

Using Your Personal Information

Personal information is submitted to us on this website via the contact form where we ask for your name and email address which will be used for dealing with enquiries and complaints made by you relating to this website and any future work undertaken, and in keeping the website secure and preventing fraud.

We will not, without your express permission, provide your personal information to any third parties, except:

We only hold the absolutely necessary personal information required to contact you in the conduct of our regular business activities.

Any personal information held by our website will be stored on our server until such time that we have used this information to reply to your query or complaint.

Our website is hosted by IONOS by 1&1 which used its own SiteAnalytics package for tracking and logging. This is enabled by default and is not controlled in any way by oscar rae. The data collected is determined by a pixel or by a log file. IONOS SiteAnalytics does not use cookies to protect personal data. A visitor’s IP is transmitted when a page is requested, anonymised immediately after transmission and processed without personal reference.

IONOS does not store any personal data of website visitors, so that no conclusions can be drawn about the individual visitors. The following data is collected:

This data is collected out of necessity, to ensure the security, proper functionality, and statistical evaluation and technical optimisation of the website. This data is stored for 8 weeks.

No data is passed on to third parties by IONOS.

 

Security

One of the most important ways to secure the data exchange between a server and a computer (client) accessing it, is the use of SSL (Secure Socket Layer). This allows data to be exchanged between computers without being read by third parties and to ensure that the communication actually takes place with the correct server, and that the server can be certified by a trustworthy institution. Our website uses SSL to help protect and encrypt any data sent between your browser and the site. Our website is also protected against malware by Sitelock.

oscar rae take every precaution against data breaches that are within our control. Where there has been a data breach identified by us or our service provider, IONOS, we will endeavour to inform you within 72 hours. Any breaches will be recorded and where necessary, reported to the ICO.

You may ask for any personal data that we may hold at any time and request its deletion except where we are legally obliged to keep hold of your data such as to comply with financial or other regulations.
