Medtronic Kick Off Events
Working in partnership with our client Dysfunction Media, we have been involved with creating printed materials for Medtronic UK & Ireland’s annual corporate event, a review of the year and a launch of their agenda for the next. Attended by over 600 delegates, it is also a celebration of their achievements as a global leader in medical technology, services and solutions.
In the beginning we supported Dysfunction with the design of supplementary leaflets, VIP passes and event maps. As their role grew to include the bulk of the video work, we took over more of the print aspect, designing the day programmes, delegate handouts, etc including display graphics and stands for the interdepartmental fairs that took place during the conference’s recesses.
Each Kick Off day has a theme, and design ideas are drawn from that. Although it is necessary to follow the Medtronic branding guidelines for some items, we can usually be as imaginative or inventive as we want. Ideas are always discussed in a brainstorming session with Dysfunction before they are presented to the Medtronic marketing department who have final say on all work. Despite the client hierarchy, this has always been a collaborative effort.
